TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

The instrument list: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, that coverage is not narrow.

What You Trade On

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Having both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That would round things out when it arrives.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. Tab Trade does not.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

This is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. The point is the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.

Regulation

Here is the thing that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. The founder came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. It does be part of your decision.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works depends on you.

The Bonus

Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, they top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before funding.
